Project scope
EdgeOS is a Unix-like kernel that runs Linux ELF64 userspace on x86_64 and AArch64.
The kernel repository holds the kernel source, architecture ports, drivers, build files and tests. Root filesystems, desktop packages and VM management tools are kept in separate repositories.
Licensing
Code written for EdgeOS is released under the Mozilla Public License 2.0. Imported compatibility and driver files are not relicensed.
Imported sources include selected FreeBSD code, lwIP and zlib. Their licenses and copyright notices remain beside the source and in the repository notice file.
